PTFE Diaphragm

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a thermoplastic resin that is practically resistant to all fluids. Of all our diaphragm materials, it is the most chemically resistant. PTFE is non-elastic, limiting its use in certain applications. PTFE can be used with media reaching very high temperatures up to 260° Celsius.

 PTFE Diaphragm

A diaphragm is normally used to reliably separate different media or spaces with different pressures. One of the main requirements is chemical resistance to aggressive media. Precisely defined flexibility and a long service life are also important criteria.

PTFE Diaphragm is widely used in Oil chemical industries, Coal industries, paper making, weave, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries.

PTFE Diaphragms Properties:

  • Good reverse bending strength
  • Almost universal chemical resistance
  • Highly suitable for sterilization
  • Temperature resistance –60°C to +200°C
  • FDA-approved and therefore suitable for contact with
  • food and pharmaceutical products
  • Freedom of design
  • Homogeneous material structure

PTFE Diaphragm Application:

  • ●Food processing industry
  • ●Electronics industry
  • ●Sanitary application
  • ●Water and waste processing application
  • ●Chemical and refinery
  • ●Pharmaceutical industry
  • ●Chemical production
  • polymer Diaphragm Series:
